A science-based botanical tea from Boehmeria nivea
Selected ramie leaves, dried under controlled temperature
A ramie leaf tea developed through scientific product development: leaf selection, controlled drying, and particle size standardisation so one brew tastes like the next.
Ramie leaves (Boehmeria nivea) from fibre ramie cultivation in West Java. The leaf is the part normally left behind by fibre harvesting — abundant material whose value has not been read.
Young-leaf sorting, washing, withering, controlled-temperature drying, then size reduction and sieving. Drying temperature and duration are locked because they govern brew colour and aroma character more than anything else.
Raw material characterisation and process parameter setting come before formulation. Sensory profiles are tested repeatedly against every parameter change; parameters that produce no distinguishable difference are not kept.
Steep one bag in 200 ml of water at 85–90 °C for 3–4 minutes. A second steep still carries character, with a lighter body.
Tea bags of 2 g in boxes of 20, and 50 g loose leaf.
Every batch records material origin, harvest date, and drying parameters. Quality documents are available on request for bulk purchase.
